Gayle Funk, MPAS, PA-C

Gayle Funk has been a certified physician assistant since 2011.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She completed her physician assistant residency in oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Gayle is licensed by the Washington State Department of Health, DEA—Washington and CDS—Washington, and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Washington Society of Physician Assistants.

She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings at cancer institutes and research settings in the Seattle area, treating solid tumors, acute benign and malignant hematology cases; and breast, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, lung, head and neck, melanoma, and neuro malignancies for nearly 15 years.

Gayle is a thorough and personable physician assistant who builds strong relationships with her patients to ensure they receive high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care in the communities where they live and work.
